Showcase Events

Join one of our Showcase Events to explore what excellent phonics and early reading practice looks like.

Our Showcase events bring schools together to examine high-quality approaches to the teaching of early reading. Led by the Whiteknights English Hub team, each event includes modelling, practical and evidence-based examples,  as well as professional insight drawn from our own improvement journey. You’ll explore how strong phonics teaching, effective early language development, and a whole-school love of reading can be grown and sustained over time.

Showcases present  an opportunity for leaders to review their current provision, consider areas for development, and begin shaping an action plan tailored to their school’s needs.

These free, regional events also feature keynote input from expert guest speakers and give delegates the chance to see best practice in action. Attending a Showcase is the gateway to accessing resource funding and fully funded specialist support through the English Hub programme.
