Professional Development and Training
Throughout the year, we provide a broad programme of CPD designed to strengthen teaching, leadership, and whole-school practice in early reading. Our offer includes both in-person events and live online webinars, giving schools flexible opportunities to engage with high-quality training and the latest evidence.
Training Series
Our free Training Series are structured programmes that help leaders develop a specific aspect of their reading or phonics provision over the course of an academic year. Each module combines research-informed guidance with practical strategies from experienced subject specialists, ensuring that schools can confidently translate learning into classroom impact.
Delegates who join a series are expected to attend every session and complete purposeful gap tasks between modules. These activities are designed to embed new ideas, support implementation, and align professional learning with each school’s development priorities.
